HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's growing and dynamic facilities/engineering team.
We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning & HVAC systems
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
Working independently or as part of a team depending on project requirements
Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
Identifying opportunities for system improvements or upgrades
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar HVAC role
Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2079 Categories 1-2 or equivalent)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Must be willing to travel to different locations Including within the same day. Primarily in Sussex, but also wider south east area.
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence (required)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
