We're looking for a proactive and passionate ASB Caseworker to join our team in Margate. This is your chance to make a real difference in the community, while being part of a friendly and supportive team environment.
🌟 Your Key Responsibilities:
Investigate & Resolve: Handle reports of anti-social behaviour, applying both enforcement and intervention tactics to find effective resolutions.
Lead Complex Cases: Take the lead on challenging ASB cases, ensuring a professional, thorough, and compassionate approach.
Collaborate Effectively: Attend regular case review meetings with the Thanet Community Safety Team to coordinate strategies and share insights.
Prepare Legal Documentation: Compile accurate and comprehensive evidential bundles for legal proceedings when required.
Supportive Working: Provide expert advice and support to Housing and Response Officers. Help shape and implement Neighbourhood Action Plans.
Protect the Vulnerable: Safeguard individuals at risk, ensuring they have access to appropriate support services.
👤 What We're Looking For:
Solid knowledge of housing and tenancy law, social housing systems, and ASB management best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organisational abilities.
Confidence in problem-solving and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in using IT systems for reporting, communication, and case management.
