Bodyshop Manager - Basildon £ 65,000 per annum plus OTE
HRGO are seeking a dedicated Bodyshop Manager to lead our clients vehicle repair team at there offices situated in Basildon.
This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service quality, and maintaining our reputation as a trusted independent motor industry specialist. Join us in delivering excellence and building lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the bodyshop team to ensure efficient workflow and high quality vehicle repairs.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain BSI 10125 accreditation standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
- Oversee inventory of tools and parts, ensuring availability to meet repair demands.
- Work closely with technicians and the production manager to maintain technical standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment aligned with company values.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Leadership and Vehicle Aftersales (Body Repair).
- Proven experience in automotive bodyshop management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle repair processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of automotive health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle repair.
- Experience with Autoflow is desirable but not essential.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
