Civil Enforcement Supervisor

📍 Location: Margate, Kent
💷 Pay: £17.43 per hour
📄 Contract: Temporary - Ongoing
⏰ 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday

🔎 About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Civil Enforcement Supervisor to support a busy local council parking service. You will lead and supervise Civil Enforcement Officers, ensuring effective, compliant, and customer-focused parking enforcement.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • 👥 Supervise Civil Enforcement Officers (rotas, performance, appraisals)
  • 🧾 Handle complaints, FOIs, and prepare reports & legal notices
  • 🦺 Ensure health & safety compliance and complete risk assessments
  • 🚗 Oversee enforcement agents and vehicle compliance
  • 🤝 Support parking contracts (Ringo, Imperial, Flowbird, G4S)
  • 🏗 Arrange car park inspections and maintenance programmes
  • 🚔 Support incidents requiring Police reporting and Body Worn Camera processes

✅ Essential Requirements

  • ✔ Previous supervisory experience within parking enforcement or local authority services
  • ✔ Subject to standard DBS Check
  • ✔ Strong knowledge of parking legislation and traffic regulations
  • ✔ Experience with Northgate, Imperial, Ringo & Google Suite
  • ✔ Excellent communication and conflict-management skills
  • ✔ Full UK Driving Licence

🎓 Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 - Notice Processing for PCNs
  • Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
