About the Role Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Laser Machine Programmer / Operator to join their team. This role is integral to the production process, ensuring the creation of high-quality lasered and folded components that are critical to their product portfolio. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a proactive approach to machine maintenance, and strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC Laser and Folding Machines.
Read and interpret CAD manufacturing drawings.
Produce a range of components, from small, intricate parts to large panels, meeting strict quality standards.
Clean and prepare finished parts for production.
Conduct maintenance on machines, including replacing nozzles and lenses.
Work with the Stock Controller to monitor raw materials and avoid shortages.
Provide accurate production timings for planning purposes.
Assist with general production operations as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Experienced in CNC programming and operation.
Proficient in reading and understanding CAD drawings.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
Strong team player with effective communication skills.
Familiarity with stock control and machine maintenance is a plus.
