This hands-on role involves the manufacture, modification and maintenance of tooling, jigs, fixtures and dies, alongside supporting CNC milling and turning operations within a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacture, modify and repair tooling, jigs and fixtures
Set, operate and programme CNC mills and lathes
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Carry out preventative maintenance and tooling repairs
Manufacture replacement components using milling and turning processes
Maintain quality, health & safety and production standards
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous experience as a CNC Toolmaker, Toolmaker or CNC Machinist
CNC milling, turning and grinding experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Strong knowledge of tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures
Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
