CNC Sliding head Turner - full time hours over 4 day week (every friday off)
Senior opportunity for a skilled CNC Turnerprogramming, setting, and operating Star sliding head lathes making complex, high-precision components for the aerospace automotive and medical industries.
Your Responsibilities:
Program, set, and operate sliding head machinery.
Perform rapid changeovers and set up for short production runs.
Develop initial prototypes to confirm adherence to specifications.
Preparing machinery for lights out working.
Maintain precision within tight tolerances, ensuring that finished products comply with quality standards.
Understand and interpret technical drawings to manage quality control throughout the production process.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating sliding head machines (Star preference).
In-depth knowledge of precision engineering and the ability to read intricate technical drawings.
