Position:Customer Collection Specialist Location: Chelmsford, Essex Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum
Overview
We are looking for an organised and personable Customer Collection Specialist to support our sales operation. This is a key role focused on preparing delivery, coordinating with internal departments and guiding customers through the final stages of their purchase.
Your main goal is to ensure a smooth, informative and memorable experience for each customer, while also handling important administrative processes to support the wider sales function.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee vehicle collection preparation, including quality checks and readiness.
Conduct informative appointments, explaining features, after-sales services, and warranties.
Address customer queries during collection and resolve issues promptly.
Accurately process and manage sales documentation, including registrations, taxing, and ownership transfers.
Schedule collection and coordinate with the sales, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Maintain accurate customer records and transaction data in both digital and paper formats.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
Provide clear communication from point-of-sale through post-delivery, and report regularly on collection activities.
What We're Looking For
Background in sales support, administration, or customer service (preferably in the motor trade or Automotive industry).
Familiarity with vehicle documentation and ownership processes.
Clear and confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable using office software and admin systems (e.g., Outlook, Excel).
Self-motivated with high attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
