Job Title: E-commerce Assistant

Location: Rhyl

Salary: £28,000p/a

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

HRGO are currently recruiting for a reliable and customer-focused E-commerce Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling customer enquiries via live chat and telephone, providing clear, accurate information about orders, returns and product availability. A high standard of written English and strong communication skills are essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to customer conversations on live chat promptly and professionally.
  • Answer telephone calls about orders, deliveries, returns and general enquiries.
  • Provide accurate information and resolve basic order issues or escalate to the appropriate team.
  • Update order records and customer information in the CRM or order management system.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding queries to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with other departments (warehouse, logistics, customer service) to track orders and manage expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of written communication for chat, email and internal notes.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within ecommerce or retail.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong written English with excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Comfortable using live chat platforms and basic CRM/order management systems.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
