HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Gainsborough for an experienced Engineering Warehouse Operative. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with a background in a mechanical engineering warehouse or engineering stores environment who is looking to join a growing business offering long-term stability, excellent working hours and a supportive team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders from receipt through to picking, packing and dispatch
  • Receive, inspect and book in engineering parts and materials
  • Pick and issue components to support production requirements
  • Prepare and dispatch customer orders safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
  • Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control
  • Load and unload deliveries safely
  • Work closely with production, purchasing and logistics teams
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Shifts Available:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am till 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am till 3:00pm
  • Day Shift Pattern
  • 39 hours per week

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a mechanical engineering warehouse or engineering stores environment
  • Experience processing customer orders from receipt through to picking and dispatch
  • Strong IT literacy and experience using stock control or warehouse management systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, proactive and positive approach to work
  • Able to reliably commute to Gainsborough
