An established precision engineering company is seeking a Factory Operative / Material Handler. This engaging and diverse hands-on role includes various responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness in the factory and yard, handling materials and assisting in keeping the site orderly.
This position would suit someone who is semi-retired or looking for part time hours.
Duties:
Keeping the factory and yard area clean, tidy and organised.
Taking deliveries - Goods in.
Packing and picking duties.
Cleaning down engineering machines and topping up oil levels
Emptying metal swarf bins.
General cleaning duties of the site.
Performing some basic gardening tasks such as grass cutting, cutting back bushes etc.
Supporting various sections of the factory as needed.
