HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Field Service Engineer (Electromechanical). This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join a growing business, working on specialist food
processing and packaging machinery across the UK.

Opportunity to work with specialist machinery and industry-leading equipment
Roles & Responsibilities:
Install, commission, service and repair electromechanical machinery at customer sites across the UK
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
Diagnose and repair faults on electrical controls, motors, drives, sensors and pneumatic systems
Service and maintain VFFS machinery and other food processing and packaging equipment
Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately following each visit
Provide basic operator training and technical support to customers
Work closely with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex issues
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers through professional service
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Standard hours with flexibility to meet customer requirements
Regular UK travel and overnight stays required
Occasional weekend work and overseas travel
About You:
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
Previous experience working on food processing or packaging machinery
Experience with VFFS machinery would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems (fault-finding preferred)
Experience working with pneumatics, conveyors, drives and sensors
Able to interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
Willing to travel extensively and stay away from home when required
