🕐 Days/Shift: Monday - Thursday ~ AM shifts 05:00 - 15:00 or Afternoon shifts 12:00 - 22:00
🏭 About the Role
HR GO are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established and successful food manufacturing company based in Thanet.
This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced food production environment, so you'll need to be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
The role offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates.
👨🍳 Experience
Previous food production experience in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience within a bakery or food manufacturing setting would be particularly beneficial.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- ⚖️ Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
- 🍽️ Portioning and dividing products
- 🌀 Mixing ingredients by hand and using machinery
- 🥖 Preparing and shaping dough
- 🔥 Operating industrial ovens
- ✅ Carrying out quality control checks
- 🧹 Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment
📋 Following food safety, production and health & safety procedures
✅ What We're Looking For
- Previous food production experience in a similar setting is desirable
- Experience in bakery or food manufacturing is advantageous
- 💪 Physically fit and comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- 👥 A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- 🔍 Good attention to detail
- 🧼 Commitment to food safety, hygiene and quality standards
