We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone with a valid counterbalance licence and hands-on experience in order picking, packing and unloading. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient movement of goods and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and stock
Carry out order picking using manual or RF scanner methods, ensuring accuracy and speed
Pack goods to company standards for dispatch, including labelling and documentation
Unload incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery notes
Perform basic stock control and cycle counts; report discrepancies
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all health & safety procedures
Assist with other warehouse tasks as required to meet daily targets
Essential Skills & Experience
Valid Counterbalance Licence (required)
Proven experience in order picking, packing and unloading
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and able to lift/move items as required
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and able to work to deadlines
Hours & Benefits
Full-time role; Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
