SHIFTS: Mon - Sun (MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH DAYS) Days/Nights shifts from 6.30am
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Forklift Driver to join our client based in Stanford-le-Hope. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and supporting general warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and stock movement.
Please note: Due to the location of the site, all candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift trucks (Counterbalance and/or Reach) safely and efficiently
Load and unload goods from lorries and containers
Transport and store stock within the warehouse
Ensure products are handled and stored with care and accuracy
Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and stock checks
Always comply with all health and safety procedures
Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any issues promptly
Maintain accurate stock and movement records where required
Support delivery or collection runs if necessary (driving licence required)
Requirements:
Valid forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - essential
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
Understanding of warehouse health and safety standards
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
