Large Format Graphic Designer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Large Format Graphic Designer to create high-impact artwork for signage, vehicle graphics and various large format print applications. You will work closely with production teams and external print partners to prepare accurate, production-ready files and ensure final output meets design and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

- Produce large format print artwork and artwork for signage, banners, hoardings and exhibition graphics

- Design vehicle graphics and vinyl wrap artwork, including full wraps, decals and cut vinyl layouts

- Prepare and deliver production-ready files with correct dielines, bleeds, trims, color profiles and resolution

- Work primarily in Adobe Illustrator to create and edit vector artwork; ensure compatibility with cutting plotters and print workflows

- Liaise with production and installation teams to resolve technical issues and optimise designs for materials and finishes

- Conduct file checks, proof approvals and quality control prior to printing and installation

- Maintain and manage artwork templates, asset libraries and version control

- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment

Required skills and experience

- Proven experience producing large format print artwork and signage design

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (vector artwork creation and file preparation)

- Strong experience designing vehicle graphics and vinyl graphics, with understanding of wrap techniques and panel joins

- Knowledge of artwork preparation for production: dielines, bleeds, crop marks, color management (CMYK, spot colours), resolution and file formats

- Familiarity with production processes (digital print, laminating, cutting/plotting, installation) and ability to troubleshoot production issues

- Excellent attention to detail, strong visual sensibility and problem-solving skills

- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production teams and clients

Desirable

- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

- Understanding of material behaviors (PVC, cast vs calendered vinyl) and finishes

- Experience with vehicle templates and wrap software or CAD tools
