HR Administrators opportunity with this large group of engineering companies. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrator to provide essential support to the senior HR Team. This is a busy and demanding role where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the group's human resources functions. The role is offered on 30-35 hrs a week over 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and in strict confidentiality.
  • Provide support in administering employee benefits programmes and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Take part in coordinating employee training and development initiatives.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate timekeeping and data entry.
  • Draft job adverts, screen candidates, and participate in interviews as required.
  • Prepare and administer all HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts of employment, and reference checking.
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll department as needed.
  • Generate and provide accurate data and reports to Line Managers.
  • Monitor sickness and absence levels, providing reports as required.
  • Respond to routine queries and requests from line managers and employees.
  • Support employer/employee meetings, ensuring adherence to proper procedures, including issuing invitations, taking minutes, and providing associated outcome letters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an HR Administrator, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discretely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
