Overview:
We are recruiting an Inventory Control Quality Auditor to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, conducting quality audits, investigating stock discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement in stock control processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts and reconciliations to maintain stock accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records
- Monitor and report on inventory KPIs and quality metrics
- Work closely with warehouse operations and logistics teams to implement corrective actions
- Verify compliance with stock handling, storage and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate audit records and prepare detailed reports for management
- Identify process improvements and support implementation of best practices
- Use warehouse management systems and basic data tools to analyse inventory performance
- Operate a HLOP and work from heights up to 15m
Shift pattern:
- 4-on/4-off shift pattern
- Day shifts: 06:00 - 18:00
- Night shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience in stock control and warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good investigative and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with inventory/WMS systems and basic Excel skills
- Effective communication and team-working abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience in auditing or quality assurance within a warehouse environment
