Junior GMG Quality Lead

Location: Folkestone, Kent

Department: Quality - Europe & Africa
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Pay: Competitive (weekly pay)
Contract: Temporary

Step into a junior Quality role where you'll get real responsibility from day one. You'll support new product launches and product changes across Europe & Africa, working alongside Commercial, R&D, Regulatory and Manufacturing teams to keep quality and compliance at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll be doing

  • Support quality oversight for new product launches and product changes, helping keep projects on track for on-time delivery.
  • Work cross-functionally to build quality plans and support change control documentation.
  • Help investigate quality issues and customer complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), including monitoring and reporting on quality metrics.
  • Support compliance activities aligned to MDD/MDR, MHRA, ISO 13485 and QSR requirements (with guidance from the wider Quality team).
  • Escalate quality concerns appropriately and keep accurate records and documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Degree (or working towards) in Engineering, Quality, Science or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
  • A genuine interest in Quality, compliance, manufacturing, or regulated products, junior/early-career applications welcomed.
  • Some awareness of ISO 13485 / medical device or consumer product quality is helpful, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships across teams.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple moving parts.
