About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Recruitment Associate to join our dynamic team of six in Bishop's Stortford.

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in recruitment while gaining valuable industry qualifications through our Recruiter Development Programme Apprenticeship. You'll play a key role in supporting the recruitment process, building strong relationships with candidates and clients, and contributing to business development activities.

Earn While You Learn

While working with HRGO, you will study towards:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Recruitment Practice
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Recruitment

You'll receive full support from both your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Manager throughout the programme.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Junior Recruitment Associate, you will:

  • Complete our Recruiter Development Programme as part of the apprenticeship pathway
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates
  • Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Support offer management and placement activities
  • Carry out business development activities to generate new opportunities
  • Help the branch achieve and exceed Gross Profit targets
  • Deliver excellent sales performance and customer service
  • Develop negotiation and consultative sales skills specific to recruitment
  • Learn and apply recruitment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Utilise social media and digital platforms to attract and engage talent
  • Develop business development strategies to grow temporary and permanent recruitment revenue
  • Identify, win, and service new client accounts
  • Grow and manage your recruitment desk in line with agreed targets and objectives

Entry Requirements

As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will need to:

  • Commit to the full apprenticeship duration of 18 months plus a 3-month End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours per week to off-the-job learning and development activities
  • Commit to a fixed-term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship programme
