Labourer
We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working Labourer with proven site work experience to join our client's small team.
The job will involve assisting with the fitting of mezzanine floors - so putting the nuts and bolts together, tightening up.
Site setup and clearance, waste management and housekeeping to maintain a tidy, safe environment
Operate basic hand tools and equipment in line with instructions and site procedures
Follow all health and safety policies, report hazards and near-misses, and use PPE at all times
If candidates have used a Scissor Lift previously this would be an advantage.
Essential requirements
- Previous site work experience
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties throughout the working day
- Reliable with good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Awareness of basic health and safety practices on construction sites
- Basic tool knowledge and experience using common site hand tools
A valid UK driving licence is essential as you will need to make your own way to sites in the Kent area.
