HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Doncaster for Winding Operatives to join their production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience, although full comprehensive training will be provided. The role offers a structured 12-hour shift pattern, long-term opportunities and the chance to develop your skills within an established manufacturing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Operate winding machinery safely and efficiently
Set up machine parameters for different cable types
Load and unload drums onto the pay-off stand
Load reels into the winding machine
Wind cable from large drums onto card or plywood reels to specified lengths
Inspect cable to ensure it meets the required specifications
Complete timesheets and job cards accurately
Record winding quantities and inspection results
Follow production instructions and company procedures
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
Ensure pallet stacks, aisles and loading bays are kept safe and tidy
Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently
Shifts Available:
4 on 3 off / 3 on 4 off
Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am
Rotating days and nights
No Friday or weekend working
About You:
Previous Machine Operative or manufacturing experience is highly advantageous
Basic Maths and English skills
Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Confident working independently and using your own initiative
Reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Willing to learn and complete full comprehensive training
Able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
Ideally able to drive due to the shift times and location
