HRGO Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, family-run packaging manufacturing company.
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join their busy production team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is eager to learn, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
Assisting within the cardboard box manufacturing process
Performing quality checks on products
Loading and unloading materials
Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
Ensuring machinery and work areas are kept clean and tidy
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Supporting the wider production team during busy periods
Completing basic production paperwork where required
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 16:00
Overtime available
Two 15-minute breaks provided
Time and a half paid after 47.5 hours
What We're Looking For:
Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable
Machine operating experience would be advantageous
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Quick learner with willingness to be trained
Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
