Role: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Bacup Hours: Days, 35 hour working week Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience
HRGO Recruitment are partnering with a specialist manufacturing business to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their technical team.
This is a hands on role within a regulated manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to lead process improvements and support new product introductions.
The role:
Drive Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives across production
Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support CAPA actions
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings
Lead process validation activities to ensure manufacturing robustness and compliance
Support new product introduction and manufacturing optimisation projects
Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and production processes
The candidate:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of process validation, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles
Proficient in data-driven problem solving
Hands on, collaborative, and able to work effectively across teams
