Join a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery as a Mechanical Design Engineer. You'll design and develop special purpose equipment and conveyor systems using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, supporting projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and modify machinery and components.
Produce manufacturing and assembly drawings to ISO standards.
Specify proprietary parts and manage BOMs (SAP experience a plus).
Ensure compliance with HSE machinery safety standards.
Support production and testing phases.
Prepare layouts, manuals, and risk assessments.
Requirements
Experience in mechanical design for special purpose machinery.
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, and MS Office.
Skilled in detailing machined, fabricated, and sheet metal parts.
Knowledge of machinery safety and risk assessments.
