Salary Guide: £31,500 - £33,500 PA, Depending on experience
Overtime Rate: Time and a half
Working 39 hours: 4 Days - Monday to Thursday
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07.00 am to 4.45 pm
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MIG Welder / Fabricator to join this well-established precision machining, fabrication engineering company located in the Bury St. Edmunds area.
This position is working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday
The welder's role is to weld and fabricate, mainly mild steel, typically 10 - 15mm plate ensuring all aspects of the specifications on the drawing are met and the quality of their work is to the level as per company standards.
Welder / Fabricator Skills Required:
Significant experience of MIG welding
MIG welding 10-15 mm plate
Proven experience in metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
Relevant vocational or trade qualification in welding or metal fabrication.
