We are currently recruiting for MIG Welder/Fabricators on behalf of our client based in Scunthorpe. Due to increased workload, they are looking to bring in skilled individuals for immediate starts, with the opportunity to secure permanent positions.

The Role:

  • MIG welding and fabrication of structural and construction steel
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling steel components
  • Using workshop machinery including grinders and OXY cutting equipment
  • General workshop duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
  • Assisting with material handling (overhead cranes, FLT - if trained)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in MIG welding/fabrication (ideally 3+ years)
  • Experience within the structural steel industry (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential)
  • Confident using measuring tools and workshop equipment
  • Reliable, hard-working, and able to meet production targets
  • Flexible approach to working hours and overtime

Candidates with less experience or without coding may still be considered depending on skill level.

Working Hours:

Flexible shifts available within:

  • Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 8:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am - 5:00pm

Minimum 40 hours per week - choose a shift pattern that suits you.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • On-site parking
  • Opportunity for permanent employment after qualifying period

Please note: All candidates will be required to complete a weld test prior to starting.
