Stonebridge, Birmingham (mobile role - attending customer sites)
ABOUT THE ROLE
HRGO is recruiting on behalf of our client who is an established commercial vehicle maintenance provider. We are recruiting Mobile Engineers to join their field team based in Stonebridge, Birmingham. This is a field-based role working independently and as part of a small mobile team, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial trailers and associated equipment at customer premises - ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out on-site trailer repairs and maintenance
Complete trailer inspections and safety checks
Tail lift repairs and servicing
LOLER inspections and associated repairs
Diagnose and rectify running defects
Carry out defect repairs at customer premises
Complete job sheets and associated documentation accurately
Work to company procedures, manufacturer specifications and health & safety standards
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills (essential)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Professional and customer-focused approach
Strong commitment to health and safety
Good communication and organisational skills
Previous experience working on commercial trailers (preferred)
Tail lift / lifting deck experience and LOLER familiarity (advantageous)
