Our client, a well-established fruit production business, is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Night Stock Operative to join their night-shift operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are confident using Excel, comfortable working in colder environments, and looking for a long-term role within a fast-paced production setting.
Please note: Candidates must demonstrate strong Excel skills, and an Excel competency test will form part of the interview process.
Accurately track and manage stock levels across warehouse and production areas.
Record all stock movements using Microsoft Excel, ensuring data is up-to-date and precise.
Locate, identify, and monitor stock throughout the facility, including occasional work in cold store areas.
Maintain warehouse organisation and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
Work closely with the wider team to resolve any stock discrepancies.
Support other warehouse tasks as required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (testing will be required).
Confident computer skills and excellent attention to detail.
Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM - 5 AM) and occasional weekends when needed.
Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -8°C) with full PPE provided.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
Previous experience in stock control or warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.
