HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company for Paint Plant Operatives to join their production team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on production role within a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and hanging aluminium components onto the paint line, carrying out colour changes, preparing parts for painting and ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Hang aluminium parts onto the paint line
- Prepare parts by taping, bunging and cleaning where required
- Carry out colour changes between different parts and processes
- Clean the paint booth ready for the next colour process
- Identify any product quality issues and carry out re-tapping where required
- Prepare and pack finished parts ready for despatch
- Finish products to a high-quality standard in line with the Golden Sample
- Check visual aids before completing each process
- Safely and efficiently use machinery, tooling and equipment
- Ensure equipment remains in its designated area
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Follow all company Health & Safety requirements
- Report any concerns or wrongdoing to the relevant member of management
- Work closely with the Immediate Line Supervisor
- Take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and that of others
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Line Manager
About You:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable
- Previous paint plant or powder coating experience would be advantageous
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands
- Able to manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and willing to use own initiative
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to undertake relevant training
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
- Able to maintain high standards of quality
Shift Pattern & Pay:
Days: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm - £12.71 per hour
Afters: Monday to Thursday, 2pm-11pm - £14.12 per hour
Nights: Monday to Thursday, 11pm-5am - £16.95 per hour
Contract: Various
