We're looking for a Patient Administration Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to our client's multidisciplinary clinical teams across inpatient and community services. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients, families, carers, clinicians, and volunteers while helping to deliver outstanding patient care.

About the Role

Reporting to the Patient Administration Team Leader, you'll help ensure the smooth running of patient services by:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for patients, carers, volunteers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information across multiple systems.
  • Supporting patient pathways and ensuring administration processes are completed efficiently.
  • Organising meetings, preparing minutes, and coordinating actions.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and general office administration.
  • Supporting inpatient wards with telephone enquiries, transport arrangements, and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinating sensitive post-death administration processes with compassion and professionalism.
  • Processing referrals, booking appointments, and supporting community patient services.

About You

You will:

  • Have strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate empathy, discretion, and compassion when supporting patients and families.
  • Be confident using IT systems and databases.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and work accurately under pressure.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and providing excellent customer service.
