Procurement Manager - Electrical Industry

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Friday (Full Time)

I'm delighted to be supporting a rapidly growing electrical contracting business in their search for an experienced Procurement Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys full ownership of their function, and is ready to take the lead on procurement, supplier management, and stock control.

If you have experience within the electrical sector and a strong commercial mindset then this role maybe for you.

As Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring projects run smoothly and cost-effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing warehouse stock levels and ensuring materials are always available
  • Preparing all materials required for upcoming jobs
  • Ownership and updating the CRM product catalogue
  • Procuring materials at competitive prices and ensuring timely delivery
  • Goods receipting and invoice/PO matching
  • Negotiating with wholesalers and building strong supplier relationships
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving commercial efficiency

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in procurement, stock control or supply chain management (electrical industry preferred)
  • Confident negotiating with suppliers and wholesalers
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong in communication and able to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Electrical product knowledge is highly desirable and will give you a strong advantage.
