We are seeking a reliable and experienced Die Cutter to join a busy production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating die-cutting machinery and take pride in producing high-quality components on time and to specification.
Key responsibilities
Set up, operate and monitor die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently
Change dies and tooling, adjust settings, and perform trial runs to ensure correct set-up
Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy and consistency; make adjustments as required
Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning and basic troubleshooting
Follow production schedules and meet daily output and quality targets
Keep accurate production records and complete required paperwork
Adhere to health & safety and quality control procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with team members and report any issues to supervisors
Skills and experience required
Proven experience operating die-cutting machinery in a production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor adjustments and maintenance
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read job tickets, basic drawings and measurement tools
Physically able to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to work shifts and occasional overtime as required
Desirable
Previous experience with specific die-cutting equipment or processes
Forklift licence or relevant safety certifications

This will be a full time shift working Monday to Friday in the afternoon shift of 2pm - 10pm. Please note there will be a short period of day shifts when initially starting the role.
