Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START - Chesterfield S43 3LS
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives for S43 3LS Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production industry.
You will be working as part of the production team in a manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are produced, finished and prepared to the required quality standards while keeping production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities for Production Operative
Operating and assisting with production and printing machinery
Feeding materials into machines and monitoring the production process
Carrying out basic machine setup and adjustments where required
Checking finished products for quality and identifying any defects
Packing, labelling. assembling and preparing finished products for dispatch
Moving materials and finished goods around the production area
Completing basic production paperwork and recording quantities
Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
Following all health & safety and company procedures
Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily targets
Reporting any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor
What We're Looking For in a Production operative
Previous production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
You should be:
Reliable commute in Chesterfield with good attendance and timekeeping
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment
Able to follow instructions and work to production targets
Quality focused with good attention to detail
Happy working both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable with a role that involves being on your feet and handling materials throughout the shift
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing production environment and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.
