We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Margate. This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Working as part of a supportive production team, you will assist in the assembly and manufacture of high-quality products while following established processes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Following work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
Carrying out assembly and production tasks to required quality standards.
Supporting various stages of the manufacturing process.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensuring products meet company quality requirements.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Reporting any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Assisting in other areas of the operation as required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good attention to detail.
Flexible approach to work and responsibilities.
Desirable
Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
Experience working with small components.
Basic soldering or electronics assembly experience.
Understanding of quality-focused production environments.
Physical Requirements
Ability to undertake repetitive assembly tasks.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to sit for extended periods where required.
Capable of lifting and moving items up to 11kg (25lbs).
Good eyesight, including close detail work and colour recognition.
