Location: Bognor Regis

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday,

Must be able to work rotating shift patterns below:

  • Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
  • Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
  • Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am

Work Type: Temp to Perm

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our client's busy manufacturing site based in Bognor Regis.

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business. They are a market leader within their industry, producing high-quality products for a wide range of customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to support the Production Manager in driving operational performance within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure production is working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and jobs are completed in the correct sequence.
  • Provide strong leadership by setting an example and allocating resources effectively.
  • Support the Production Manager in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor daily production output, with an expected shift performance of approximately 4,600 units per day.
  • Carry out production system and report checks.
  • Complete daily safety inspections and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all employees wear the correct PPE and comply with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Support and monitor staff training, identifying additional training requirements where necessary.
  • Report machine breakdowns and quality issues using the appropriate reporting procedures.
  • Capture and report production figures, including units/metres produced and work-in-progress performance.
  • Ensure effective and accurate shift handovers.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area.
  • Assist with planned maintenance programmes.
  • Maintain weekly rotas on a week-plus-one basis.
  • Administer absence and sickness records, reporting to the Production Manager and HR where required.
  • Deliver inductions and assist with employee training schedules.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the continued development of the site.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
