Job Title:Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full time/permanent

We are supporting a well established business in their search for a Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector to their expanding production team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet defined specifications and industry standards, identifying non conformances, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.


Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and ad-hoc inspections of materials, components and finished products
  • Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections and functional tests using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Record inspection results, prepare quality documentation and maintain accurate traceability records
  • Identify, report and investigate non conformances; raise corrective actions and follow through to resolution
  • Work closely with production teams to implement quality improvements and prevent recurrence of defects
  • Support internal and external audits and assist with process validation as required
  • Challenge quality issues confidently and make decisions to protect product quality and safety
  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies and relevant industry standards


Required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, Manufacturing, or Production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Confidence to challenge quality issues and make decisions
  • Good understanding of inspection techniques, measurement tools and quality documentation
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
