Job Title:Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector Location: Ashford, Kent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Dependent on experience) Job Type: Full time/permanent
We are supporting a well established business in their search for a Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector to their expanding production team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet defined specifications and industry standards, identifying non conformances, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out routine and ad-hoc inspections of materials, components and finished products
Perform dimensional checks, visual inspections and functional tests using appropriate measuring equipment
Record inspection results, prepare quality documentation and maintain accurate traceability records
Identify, report and investigate non conformances; raise corrective actions and follow through to resolution
Work closely with production teams to implement quality improvements and prevent recurrence of defects
Support internal and external audits and assist with process validation as required
Challenge quality issues confidently and make decisions to protect product quality and safety
Ensure compliance with company quality policies and relevant industry standards
Required skills and experience:
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, Manufacturing, or Production environment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
Confidence to challenge quality issues and make decisions
Good understanding of inspection techniques, measurement tools and quality documentation
Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
