Sales Coordinator

Interesting and varied administration opportunity to join this rapidly expanding engineering company as a sales office coordinator. The role is initially offered on a 10-11 month fixed term maternity leave cover contract although as the company is expanding so quickly it is anticipated that a similar permanent role will be available following this time.

This is a structured coordination and administrative role focused on accuracy, process control, and reporting rather than senior-level sales activity. Due to continued growth, there is potential for the position to become permanent following the fixed-term contract.

Key Duties:

  • Processing customer purchase orders
  • Checking orders against quotes and specifications
  • Maintaining accurate AS9100-compliant records
  • Logging quotes and tracking order intake
  • Preparing KPI reports in Excel
  • Coordinating between sales, production, and quality

Essential Skills:

  • Strong Excel (formulas, reporting, data handling)
  • High attention to detail
  • Methodical and organised
  • Accurate data entry
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Reliable and committed to completing the contract (incentives offered here)

Holiday: 25 days pro rata + bank holidays

40 hours per week (flexible between 7:30am - 6:00pm)

Suitable for candidates with 3-10 years' experience in sales administration, operations coordination, order processing, or similar structured office roles.
