We are looking for a Service Advisor to join a busy service operation based at the Ashford branch. This is one of the most active locations within the business, and the successful candidate will support the workshop's administrative function, working closely with the Workshop Coordinator and Service Manager.

Previous experience within a car dealership, garage, or service department would be advantageous; however, applicants with strong administrative or customer service experience who are ready to progress their career are also encouraged to apply. An interest in groundcare or construction machinery would be beneficial but is not essential. Full systems training will be provided.

Excellent customer service skills are essential, as the role involves regular communication with customers regarding servicing, repairs, and warranty work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the service department, greeting customers professionally and handling incoming telephone enquiries

  • Carrying out a range of administrative duties, including raising job cards, updating internal systems, maintaining spreadsheets, and ensuring accurate filing

  • Ordering parts, following up on outstanding orders, and tagging machinery

  • Preparing and issuing customer quotes for servicing and repair work

  • Maintaining accurate Health & Safety documentation

  • Booking vehicle MOTs, repairs, and servicing

  • Supporting the Workshop Coordinator and Service Manager with delegated tasks

  • Confident using IT systems, with a willingness to learn new software

  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to use initiative to solve problems
