We're recruiting a Slitting Machine Setter / Operator for a busy manufacturing site in King's Lynn. This is a permanent role working a triple rotating shift pattern. You'll be responsible for operating slitting machinery safely and efficiently, producing finished reels/rolls to specification and supporting production targets. Training is provided.
Responsibilities:
Operate (and where required, set) slitting machinery to meet production and quality standards
Complete roll changes, blade/knife changes, and machine adjustments
Carry out in-process quality checks and record results accurately
Basic troubleshooting and routine checks; escalate faults when required
Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all health & safety procedures
Support smooth shift handovers and accurate production paperwork
What we need from you:
Proven experience operating production machinery
Able to work the rotating shift pattern reliably
Good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Desirable (not essential);
Experience operating a slitting machine or similar converting machinery
Forklift licence
