HR GO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics and distribution business in Chesterfield for an experienced Stock Control Operative. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled stock counts accurately and within required timescales.

  • Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve inventory issues.

  • Record count results and maintain accurate system records.

  • Check product locations, labels, and stock accuracy.

  • Support stock investigations and reconciliation activities.

  • Confirm inbound stock reconciliations and manifest accuracy.

  • Liaise with internal departments regarding stock queries.

  • Resolve stock-related issues and exceptions within the warehouse.

  • Work closely with operational teams to maintain stock accuracy.

  • Follow site procedures and stock control processes at all times.

Shift Pattern

  • 4 on 4 off Night Shift

  • 6:00pm - 6:00am

About You

  • Previous experience within Stock Control, Inventory Control, or Warehouse Operations is essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good IT and PC skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable, committed, and positive approach to work.

  • HLOP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
