Stonemason / Fabricator (Granite, Quartz & Porcelain)

Pay Rate: From £130+ per day (DOE)
Hours: Full-time

HRGO Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Stonemason / Fabricator to join a well-established and growing specialist stone fabrication company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual with experience working with granite, quartz, porcelain, and other solid surface materials. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing and installing high-quality bespoke stone worktops and surfaces for a range of residential and commercial projects.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and finish granite, quartz, porcelain, and other stone worktops to the highest standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, templates, and cutting plans accurately.
- Operate CNC machinery, bridge saws, edge polishers, and associated workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, polish, and finish stone surfaces to specification.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer expectations.
- Carry out site measuring and installation of bespoke worktops, splashbacks, vanity tops, and associated stone products.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Stonemason, Stone Fabricator, Worktop Fabricator, or similar role.
- Proven experience working with granite, quartz, porcelain, and solid surface materials.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Experience operating stone fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred due to installation duties.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
