As a Stores Operative, your duties will include:
Serving at the trade counter and providing excellent customer service
Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
Replenishing stock and keeping the stores organised
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate stock levels
Loading and unloading deliveries when required
Keeping the warehouse and trade counter clean, tidy and safe
Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed efficiently
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or trade counter environment (preferred)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to work
