Hours:4 on/4 off shift pattern - 2 days then 2 nights, then 4 off

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support our Warehouse Co-ordinator in the day-to-day running of our client's busy manufacturing facility.
This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency within the warehouse, material room, and associated storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the cleaning and upkeep of the Material Room to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
Log, track, and help minimise material waste in line with company procedures.
Bale plastic bags and ensure recycling processes are followed correctly.
Move, handle, and store stock safely within the warehouse, including the use of manual handling equipment where required.
Support general warehouse operations, ensuring stock areas remain tidy and well-organised.
Assist in organising and maintaining the Engineering Stores as needed.
Work closely with the Warehouse Co-ordinator to complete daily tasks and respond to operational needs.
Who we're looking for:
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and active, hands-on work. Due to the nature and size of the facility, there is lots of walking required to move goods around the facility.
Able to follow instructions and work independently when required.
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
