Join a Growing Warehouse Team
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and expanding logistics operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment who enjoys a varied role involving goods in, picking, put-away and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Unload inbound deliveries, including pallets and IBCs.
Scan incoming shipments into the warehouse management system.
Put away stock into the correct warehouse locations.
Break down mixed pallet deliveries and distribute products to the correct storage areas.
Pick customer orders accurately to specification.
Band, strap and wrap shipments in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
Prepare shipments and attach the correct documentation.
Print labels and confirm stock receipts using warehouse computer systems.
Operate Counterbalance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Trucks (PPT).
Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure freight is ready for dispatch.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience within a fast-moving warehouse or logistics environment.
Experience picking, putting away and preparing shipments.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP experience would be advantageous).
A valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
A valid external PPT (Electric Pallet Truck) Licence.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
