About the role We are recruiting reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced distribution team. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties such as picking, packing, loading, and stock handling, as well as basic data and systems work to support smooth and accurate operations.
You will play an important part in ensuring goods are processed efficiently, safely, and to a high level of accuracy. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when checking stock, processing orders, and updating system records.
Key responsibilities
Receive, unload, and store incoming stock correctly and safely
Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch
Carry out manual handling tasks in line with health & safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Use basic computer systems to update stock records, process information, and complete documentation
Support stock counts and help identify and resolve discrepancies
Work in accordance with company quality standards and deadlines
Essential skills and experience
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
Physically capable of manual handling, including lifting and repetitive tasks
Basic computer literacy and confidence using simple systems or scanners
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
