Overview We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Stock Checker to support scheduled physical inventory (PI) counts and ongoing stock control activities in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy and maintaining inventory integrity.
Key responsibilities - Perform physical inventory (PI) counts and cycle counts according to schedule and procedures - Accurately record quantities and locations, reconcile discrepancies and report variances - Operate HLOP for stock checks, updates and scanning tasks - Assist with inventory control processes, stock adjustments and documentation - Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to resolve stock issues - Maintain a clean, safe and organized working area and follow health & safety procedures
Skills and experience required - Previous experience in warehouse counting, inventory control or stock checking preferred - Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills - Ability to follow procedures, work methodically and maintain accurate records - Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team - Physically able to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
