Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee warehouse operations and manage day-to-day assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storing, assembly, pick-pack, and dispatch activities while maintaining efficient workflows and meeting customer ship conformance.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule staff to foster a productive, safe, and well-organised work environment, while effectively managing conflict resolution.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement controls to reduce waste, and optimise storage processes.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure goods meet quality standards, uphold safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulations through training and reviews.
Vendor and Client Coordination: Manage consignments, resolve order discrepancies, and handle returns while maintaining professional communication with vendors and clients.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
Proficiency in warehouse and inventory systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
High attention to detail with strong accuracy in inventory and order processing.
Must be flexible with duties and work hours during peak demand periods.
Qualifications:
Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
Due to the location of the role, you must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
