We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a well‑established company in the Harlow Pinnacles area. This is a hands‑on role working mainly outdoors and supporting a busy yard operation supplying total solutions to the construction industry, including shoring equipment, piling equipment, pipework, and hydraulic tools.
Key Responsibilities
Operating pressure‑washing equipment
Loading and unloading vehicles
Using hand tools and various hydraulic equipment
General yard duties and manual labour
Stock checks and maintaining a tidy working environment
Desirable Skills
A Counterbalance Forklift Licence is beneficial but not essential.
Training and certification will be provided for committed candidates once they achieve permanent employment status.
Experience in welding, fabrication, or hydraulics is an advantage, but not required.
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
08:00 to 17:30
42.5 basic hours per week
Optional overtime available on Saturdays at x1.5 pay rate
Contract Type
This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. You will complete a qualifying period on a temporary contract. With strong performance, reliability, and a positive attitude, there is the potential to be taken on permanently by the client.
